Pantene reworked a previous-leave in that i used on my long thick curly hair n i didnt like the results. I have been searching for a replacement for 2 years now. some to thick, to light, some left my hair dry, or greasy one even smelled bad.(sounds like Goldilocks and the Three Bears lol) Herbal Essences long term relationship almost had it but it was a little to thick n to spread it evenly though my hair, even when wet, i would need to much which would leave my hair greasy n heavy but i was the closest i had until this product. it is the perfect consistency and works great with my hair type. if i hear that this product is being discontinued i will be stocking up. i recommend this to anyone who asks what i use in my hair. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful  Works Wonderfully,  This review is from: Dove Nutritive Therapy, Nourishing Oil Care Leave In Smoothing Cream, 4 Ounce (Pack of 2) (Misc.) I love Dove products, inexpensive, but effective.I've been using Dove Intensive Repair shampoo and conditioner for a long time, during the humidity of Summer, I needed just a little more to keep my hair from going wild on me. It has a mind of it's own, if I want to curl it, it goes limp on me and if I want it straight, especially in high humidity, it will poof up on me in a very unflattering style. I do bleach my hair, which results in split ends and a very course feeling, this conditioner brings softness and sheen to my otherwise lifeless hair. Dove Nutritive Nourishing Oil Care gave me the right amount of moisture and conditioning without feeling heavy, filmy or greasy. There's fine particles of almond and mineral oil in it and the scent is light and fresh.
