Montgomery (Columbus, GA) - See all my reviews       I love to play around with red tones--brighter, coppery ones for spring and summer, then a darker, burgundy one for fall and winter. Normally my hair takes very well to color, but sometimes it needs an extra oomph in the conditioning department. This product by Neutrogena is one of the best conditioning agents I have ever used to sooth dried out, tired strands. The directions on the jar caution you to use a small amount, and they are very right. I have short hair--doesn't even touch my collar--so a dime sized amount was great. If you have shoulder length or longer, you might want to use a tad more. Shampoo as usual then forgoe your normal strength conditioner for this rich, creamy mixture instead. Leave in three minutes, rinse and style. After blow drying at a medium heat setting, my hair looked as if it had undergone the star treatment! This is one of the best hair treatments I've ever used and I love how soft and silky my hair is afterwards. I straighten my hair every 2-3 days which can be highly damaging, yet with this, you couldn't tell. It's great for putting moisture back in, and for dull looking hair and split ends. You have to be careful not to use too much or it can feel a little heavy and 'greasy' otherwise, but with the right amount (you have to play around to get your own right amount based on hair length), it feels great and leaves your hair smelling gorgeous. It's easy to use and I use it religiously once a week on Fridays and you could never tell that I don't go to the hairdresser as often as I should or that I straighten it too much.
